If I give up my guns
And the boogie man
Comes
How shall I defend
my life
I got married to
a she devil
And I hide under her apron
From the light
As fierce as she is
She alone can not
Face such horrors
Of the type
That I speak
Weak I maybe
And old become
These bones
But alone I can
Defend my keep
These weapons were made
To make all men the same
I will protect
My countrymen
My family
And friends
As long As I have
This gun in my hand
Never will I be a slave
