Reflections deep within my soul
perfect flame here for eternity
Light that emits from deep within
Fusion of light that makes me whole,
Every day, I look in the mirror and
I see more and more of my mother's face
staring back at me.
Every day I measure the weight of my past
against the present and feel the drag
of what could have been.
I try to think of a word that is closest to love
and the only thing that comes to mind
is your name. I try to imagine what I would
say if our paths ever crossed
again but I keep drawing a blank.
