You sat me down, placed your hand on my leg.
Your lip's tremble unmasks your unwound nerves.
"Chrissy, I'm sorry, it's time to go home."
And there he stands, his shadowed silhouette.
And there you go, arm in arm, hand in hand.
I sit, I weep, and the scene fades to black.
