"What goes on in Vegas
stays in Vegas"

When you go away
my heart is going
to change
You're going to
be gone
so far far away

I'll be home thinking
of you
To be told not
to worry
that's easy for you
to say

I won't hear from you
for hours
You'll just put your
phone away

You will be out
every night and day
this is true

To be dressing
up with theΒ Β clothes that were
chosed by you
The ones you told me you
bought
for school

From the way you
will wear your
make up
To the way you set
your hair
It'll be worn
different than
when you're
with me, here

Everyone will be looking
at you
You won't be thinking
of me

You're going with friends
this is what you
decided to do
Nobody's going to say a
word against you

You will be within
a bubble
They will close
their eyes
They will become blind
for
you're in the land
of Vegas
Where nothing their
is true

You will be drinking
You'll be dancing
You will be
gambling too
There will be a bunch
of money
all around you

People will be flirting
That's what they do
I know this
to be
I see you flirt even when
you're with me

When this happens
it will stay between
Yourself and
the
Land of Make Believe

For this is a playground of
many fantasies
What goes on
between others
no one else
will see

You're within the bubble
there's nothing I
can do
For this is Vagas the land
where people do as
they please

I know my heart is
going to change
Mary Ann
For you are so
far away

The memories will be
yours forever
I didn't share them
with you
The stories that
you'll tell
When you do
see me
Will be the stories
from the
Land of Make-Believe

From your lover
boy Danny it is
hard for me to see
To know that you're
in Vegas
So far far away
from me

I stayed awake
at night
To write this poem
to thee
It is really bothering
me
To know that you're
in the land
Of opportunity

I will end my poem
the way that It started

As it was said in
the beginning and now
at the end

"What goes on in Vegas
stays in Vegas"

Yours truly
