She is like the Moon, she won't let go of her sea
she lifts up waves between you and me
waves of wrath and war
that form a wall of tears that separate the land and the sea
then the sun casts a spell on the moon
and the past lovers made peace

but each night the moon changed 9 times
tossing and turning
alone and in the dark
without her sun
so the moon made love with the sun
and they formed the stars
they came and they went
but they were always there reminding her
that one day the moon might find her sun again
