The weight of the Sun is easier to bear
As I gander at the beach without fear

The echos of the waves crash into the shore
Knowing I linger for I will never bore

Every time I hear a Soca beat
I can't stop dancing or moving my feet

My goal is to be happy in every way
I'll wear the sunlight like lingerie
If it means that I can stay
