It's not often you find a smile
Upon my face, it's been a while.
Yet somehow with an aching heart
I picked one up, a brand new start.

I'm certain you shall find no frown,
In recent days that's upside down.
It's puzzling though I can't complain
For it brings relief after pain.

Look at me, my simple prose
With lines and lines and rows and rows.
Why complicate something so new,
Hello, I say, hello to you.
