We are the kids who bang on cardboard boxes and buckets and call them drums,
The kids who, despite the pressure of the world keep on pushing,
We are the kids who sing along in basements,
to bands with no funding,
And we're ok with that,
We are the kids who will keep our community Alive,
After those who came before us have moved on,
And we are the ones who have the power to bring it all back.
