Untitled
You, in your corner
Me, by the window.
I wonder how it would feel
To close that gap.
Is it weird, I ask myself
with a nervous laugh.
Those intense eyes
silently gazing away,
Nobody seems to notice it
but how I wish it was me
that was reflecting in your eyes.
Smiling to yourself,
isn't that cheating, i say to myself
and i would get embarrassed
all on my own.
Ah, she's looking this way
Was I too direct?
As flowers bloom and wilt,
Our time is also fading,
You, in your corner
Me, coming nearer.
Did you finally notice,
I smile at that nervous face.
Let's leave the present
And fly to the future,
A future of you and me,
In our own corner
