Opal’s Moon
In warm June
White reflection
Silica collection
Daisy fields sway
Thousand years of white
Nature ignites
Precious find
One of a kind
Someone’s loss
Washed to the shore
By sea moss
Colors shimmer bright
Silver like moonlight
Nothing lacking
B-O-L-D and fUn
Start your summer packing
Find your opal in the sand
On a ring band
Where you belong
Sing a seasonal song
At twilight
It’s pure highlight
Gray marble in the sky
Floatin’ stone flashlight
Look up and wonder why
See its gaze back at you
What is precious
Is not a lie
