Rough Weather

To share with You, this great divide

And not to grieve at the miles

I want to hold You in my arms tonight

But I know that time will be a while

I could say that the dreams are better

But that defies intelligence

Nothing compares to when we lie together

The memories overshadowed by the sense

Every night I wish You here

Though here, You cannot be

Yet now I live without fear

That You’re so far away from me

This is a way of Love in Our rough season

This side of madness, the other side of reason
