Such a lonesome tune she played one day
Thinking not a soul would hear
But a fine melody of such rare display
  Still fell on angels’ ears

The soulful tune was heard on high
Making crystal tears fall from every eye
Each note was met with woeful sighs
As if all the angels’ hearts were broke inside

On and on without respite she played her tune
Without one single solitary clue
That her lonesome melody need end soon
Before all their hearts she broke in two
