You can only be you
But there are many of you
There is the you you see in the mirror
The you your mother sees
The you who turns into work
The you a lover sees
The you close friends confide in
The you who hides your pain
The you who weeps alone
The you who needs a hug
The you no person knows
The you your children see
The you your children love
The you who helps a stranger
The you who wants to love
Be you and not another
You that hides inside
You are individual
It's you that makes me smile
