Taunt
Heart beats fast as I said hello
Another date with the unknown
What if she sees through me?
Will my darkness be shown?
Cupid's arrow has a poisoned tip
And he's taunting me to play his game
And heaven is silent and exasperated
As my lips try to mumble her name.
I honestly need a break
From my mind's weary eerie lie
Shoulders tensed, in this I confess
I'm afraid to lose again in this life
