Old Comfort
I am the frosted rain
Beyond their wildest dreams
Of death
Why do you have to be the one
amidst this pain?
It slowly drains
A source of life within reach
Of breath
Why can't you be the one
Draining away?
Committed to such a filthy lake
Should I be drowned in sin?
Why be so cruel to just take it away?
My past is what I take
To fuel this creative spin
Give me a chance to pull this all astray
Unfamiliar places
Diseased traces
At least that what I see
In their faces
Darkest fire Wasted
For you to **** what I've created
Don't believe that I need
All these privileges
The lake will eventually fade
Evaporate towards its natural state
Dirt will return from where it came
Away from the day
The old comfort holds me back
Destroy the earth's wrath
With what created it
Don't give in to my sinfull requests
Paralyze the dead
These helpfull chants
Lets me know
I need some rest
;)
