I wasn't born
To be quiet, soft.
To be shut down, quieted
Beaten...I'm lost.

I wasn't born
To be told my worth
To be shown my limits
Conditioned from birth.

I wasn't born
The way you want
The way you expect
The way I should flaunt.

I wasn't born
The way you see right
The way you see fit
For me to have life.

I wasn't born
In your own image
I was born me
The real me
For my own privilege.
