Adopted

He didn't know his birth mother She was a pretty young girl She was raped at seventeen There is ugliness In the world The man was her uncle What he did no one Ever knew The girl blamed it on some Boy Whom she said was cruel She was kept locked away Until the baby was due A handsome baby boy That was you I love you, Like I need my soul I couldn't imagine Not having you In the world You are loved As much as you Were abandoned You are my son As sure as I'm your Daddy Your birth mother had a choice And I'm so happy With what she decided You may never know The truth of how you were Conceived But none of that matters Because You are a son to me
