Stranger
At your side
I feel like a stranger
to love
my heart skipping
beats
my breath
catching in my
threat
you have awoken
the ghost of
my soul
and now I am
searching the sky
for patterns that mark out
our future
hands clasped tightly
entwined, two bodies
dissolving into one
in your arms
I feel like a stranger
to myself
