Oh,  all  this life
that  I  have lived
and all  the battles  I have won
and all  the  battles  I have lost
and  I  the things
that I what  suffered
have been
for  the love  I hold
within my heart
when  I  think of you.
Oh,  and  my pains
they  seem as nothing
and all my worries
are as light as a feather
when I  hold you  in my heart.
For you are a shining  star
that gives your  light
through  my cold dark  night
lighting my way
down  this  lonesome worn path
that I follow
in my search  for you.
Oh,  I willingly trod
that  lonesome way
till  I come to the house of your  heart
and there I shall ever remain
within the warm light of your love.
