My heart is full of colour,
Though I’m not allowed to love her.
Concealing my prism of pride,
And covering all my lies.
Still incapable of loving a man,
Though I try as hard as I can.
The shame of being gay,
Too hard to take.
A short one about the challenge of homophobia and the humiliation that goes along side it.
