"You're not good enough!"

That’s what she pronounced...
She left me with a thousand questions buzzing in my head
Am I not worth her love?
Is my love too unscrupulous for her?
Am I not the one after her heart?
Do I not complement her?
Maybe I am just that stepping stone...
Or a rock in her journey to love
But still, she picks me up
Heightening my hopes,
While casting me aside.
Only to land in her way once more.

Maybe I am not worth such a gift that is you
My love is priceless- no charges or taxes
And maybe that’s the problem
My presence by your side drags your energy to the ground
Maybe I am too small to complete your stairway.
So please,
Next time you happen pick me up,
Dispel of me,
That way I will not be a hindrance in your way
Perhaps I will be good enough for someone else,
I will never really know until I'm picked up again,
By someone else...
