Midnight stroll
Laying upon my berth
In the darkness of a glow
With flame crackling of the hearth
Mr Moon came to my window
He must have known my sadness
Asking me if I wanted to walk
But my mind was saddled with heaviness
As I rolled over not wanting to talk
Oh but Mr moon was beautiful and bright
He tugged at my thought
Walking with him would be a wonderful sight
Finally my attention he caught
So up I get and grab a coat
The air is refreshing crisp
He takes lead and up high floats
He breaks the silence with a lisp
Eva it’s ok , not to be ok
I look up surprise but amused
Then bow my head unsure what to say
To many thoughts , so confused
The moon then ask me
Why I feel so alone
Everyone I say leaves me you see
The moon sighs and I hear a moan
He said he sees all things from high
Alone your not ,he said ,never
Even though I'm up in the sky
I’m here with you forever
That made a smile form on my face
And I looked upward
The clouds part and I see all space
With Mr moon as it’s guard
