Mar 2013
if only we could wash away all the days
where our words were left unspoken.

the days where breathing without you
were almost too painful to be real.

the days where sleep became
stained with endless nostalgia
and the hope that you were near

i would stitch the space back together,
our time apart marked by the seams.

i would hold you close and whisper
sweet things against your ear;
letting you know of all
the beautiful things
you never got to hear.
