Say, how do
you’re so lonely
your heart here
in my hand
broken in bits
with no reason
Say, how you
your hair chocolate
your tears cupped
in my hand
pooled together, singled
with reasoned grief
Say, how much
cigarettes kissing lips
poison swallowed swiftly
in your hand
reasoning proved wrong
Say, how can
nothing works anymore
eyes are dead
in my hand
with good reason
