Long nights sitting by the river,
Imagining your reflection next to me,
The hot summer air bringing nostalgia of the touch of your skin against mine,
The wind whispers,
Tricking me into believing Iā€™m not alone,
But the sun begins to rise,
Reality crashing down on dreams of happiness,
You throw a rock into the water,
Letting the splash destroy the illusion of love
