A wave of calm
From heaven sent
Eases the pain
Makes it relent

Inhales all possibility,
From life, from hope,
From you,
From me

A wisp of air
Against a hardened shell,
Carrying promise,
Escape from hell

Maybe just passing
On a journey elsewhere
Or perhaps a playful nudge
Follow if you dare
