My oldest moved out today
I hope and pray that she will be ok
My heart aches and swells with pride
Today we may have cried
But tomorrow she will be on her own
A year ago who would known
The wonderful woman she has become
So far from the girl she was when she was young
Any man that wants to take her for his bride
Better treat her right and bide his time
For if he hits or abuses her
My wrath he will incur
I love you with all my heart
And with that we will never be apart.
