THE WAY OUT
We break our heads and think of life
to reach some verse we can indite.
It takes so much to sift this life.
Why don't we choose what has great worth?

This man is great, but what he writes
is just about some crap that can't
give good smell even if he tries
to give it values that it lacks.

There are great issues in the world
that concern you and break your heart.
Why don't you with the greatest minds
endeavour to find good ways out ?

Where are you, Thalia, of great verse ?
Why don't you tell us why and how
you want your poets to use rhyme
to pour on them your precious lines ?

We all live in a world so cruel
that never tries to show the way
to live with tranquil mind and heart ;
why don't we try to find ways out ?
