She moved and danced and flipped through the chapters that were now gone
Like the jungle to her life,
And so the beasts danced on
She ran, and jogged, and trotted
To where new life would spawn
And like a party after a funeral,
The beasts danced on
She swayed, swifted, and stepped
Into the inevitable dawn
Like the sunrise after nightfall
The beasts danced on

She stalked, and crawled, and sprinted like a lioness hunting for long
Like the wild beasts of the land
She was moving on
