Light shown through the pale curtain
Awakened from distant slumber
to meet an Angel with no face
And a dream I dont remember

Shadow pervades all corners of this room
A light from the window reveals the form
Not fearful but not calm bewildered I stared
A butterfly wing immense up there

For a while it floated in space
Above my bed where my body dost lay
Wrinkles in the curtain portray its sway
Familiar in spirit terrifying in form
Ever watchful over my
