Is it worth the time
Can it be measured by love
Do rose pedals breathe...yes

If I reached in and pulled a rose above the point of no return, will its gratitude of remaining part of the living satisfied my appetite for lust...yes.

Do we hold hands
Forget all that is meaningless
and take trips around the world...yes

Will it give me lip and forget that I prevented its lungs from being filled with liquid... Yes

**** my rose, my pretty little rose
What has become of you
Can we take a last trip to the lake.
