Mother, with your heart this night,
With heaven's stars then compete?
They may shine giving brilliance,
But they will not be stars sweet.

Tonight should I gaze at stars,
You're the one who I'll think of;
To me you're a special star,
Who has showed me how to love.

I know how blessed that I am,
As my mom, God gave me you.
You warmed my heart with sunshine,
To your heart mine is drawn to.

You've a heart of TLC,
That is prized for its beauty.
Yow have showed me how to live,
As you found it your duty.

It's been over a decade,
Since June, Two thousand seven.
I know that you are happy.
Because now you're in heaven.
