Excuse Me

Excuse me while I stop and cry,

don’t ask cause I won’t say.

It just seems like something,

I need to do today.

Excuse me while I pause and smile,

a thought just came to me.

Of one I love deep in my heart,

and how we came to be.

Excuse me while I talk to God,

and thank him for this day.

There is so much he’s done for me;

I need this time to pray.

Excuse me while I take my leave,

its time for me to go.

I’ve enjoyed this time with you,

I hate to leave, you know.

But ill be back here one day soon,

and spend more time with you.

We’ll find new things to talk about,

and more new things to do.
