I’ve been in darkness for so long
Holding a tiny, lit candle
A tiny glimmer of hope
I’m terrified that one day it will
f  l  i  c  k  e  r    o  u  t
And I will be in total blackness
I want to walk out
Into light
Into beauty
Into a happier life
And farther away from this darkness
Leave it behind
But...

I don’t know which direction to go...

It’s flickering.
I need to get out because my candle is burning out....
