Dear butterfly I addressed thee,
Not to come and play so near me.
For you are wrecking this poor mind’s sanity
That I’m clinging on so helplessly

Dear Butterfly I say to thee,
Your beauty is compared to none I’ve yet to see.
Utterly breathtaking like a perfect sword,
So valuable and exquisite to behold.

Dear butterfly I write to thee
Have mercy and don’t tempt me is my plea
For I am bound to take you here
And never let you go I fear.

Dear butterfly I beg of thee
Just fly away if you wish and flee
Never to return and engaged with me
for I will never set you free.
