Oh, summer,
You've finally arrived.
The wonderful feeling of the breeze,
Comes swirling around my face.
But out of the ordinary,
A flock of small seagulls,
Land of the yellow.
All of a sudden,
A beautiful, golden sun appears.

Oh, summer,
The kids are running,
To the pools,
While elders are tanning.
I buy an ice cream
At the crowded snack bar.

Oh, summer,
A day for sports.
I go to play tennis,
The blazing sun beating on my head.

Oh, summer,
Camps are opening.
A first day at camp,
So much excitement!

Oh, summer,
We go on vacations,
To places we have never even seen before.

Oh, summer,
We meet new people,
Some nice, other's independent.

Oh, summer,
It's unfair you're leaving.
I've had so much excitement,
And hopefully next year,
You'll return again for more.
