WEAKNESS AND LOVE
Danger, you can change the words a tongue
would be glad to say  about a man.
You may force a mother to deny
whom she held in womb, her dearest son.

Jesus knew that Peter would recant,
yet He asked him thrice if he loved Him.
Then He made him shepherd of His flock,
giving him the key of his own realm.

Love is what He wants a man to feel,
and not what he says in state of fear.
Who can say the truth when danger comes,
but who's dear will stay forever dear.

That endows me comfort, my dear Lord.
I'm so certain of my love to you.
Just You, no one else, are my dear God.
I'm like Peter whose love is so true.
