THEY ARE WAITED FOR. He walked with pride that filled his eyes and face as if he challenged all the passers-by. I looked at him ; he stirred my pride and wrath. I thought that l should such a man defy.
By chance, my eyes went down and saw his shoes. They could remind me of those of my son. I smiled with love and prayed long life to him as that last thought anon my heart had won.
This man is like my son and that girl's dear as they have people who are their own kin. I love them all, and they are close to me as all share me my care and worried brain.
