At times when I am tempted,
Jesus be there at my side.
In what I am in need of,
Jesus, it, to me provide.

You know what I 'm in need of,
And what I should stay far from.
What draws me closer to you,
Help me know how to welcome.

Give me the strength and courage,
To say no to temptation.
Help me, Jesus, in these times,
And through my life's duration.

In evil things, dear, Jesus,
Help me never have a part.      
For loving, dearest Jesus,
Help me make room in my heart.

Help me know what I should do,
To stay far away from sin;
Help me live the way you did,
And courageously hang in.
