It's what some people pray for,
Others pray for it to stop.
At times when there is a drought,
Welcome is every raindrop.

At times when there is a flood,
Sand bagging  often you'll find.
When rivers are  near flood stage
Will damage be far behind?        

Rain is found in thunderstorms
And fills cisterns when they're dry;
At times rain is unwelcomed
When the rivers run too high.

When it's cold rain turns to snow,
And can turn to sleet we know.
