deep pools
in your eyes
of a amber
honey
pour.

stature in
your walk
like a
princess
receiving
a crown
in some
procession
from long
ago.

and you
move through
your day
with the
confidence
of no
stone left
unturned
or question
unanswered.

and where
might your
day dreams
play,

and laughter
echo under
the mid
winter
solstice
sun.

and who
might get
the gift
of the
shelter
of your
angel
smile.

for a moment
to bask
in it's
celestial
warmth.

not I.

the day
will
begin and
end.

and I
will
be the
lesser
for it.
