She walks
Confident
But…
Her black leather boots
Are all scuffed-up
The zippers are broken
The leather is worn
And most of the stylish ***** are torn
They are
Immensely broken
Beyond repair
Like her soul
But
She keeps on walking
And she will
Until she finds
Whatever it is she’s looking for
And nothing
Will ever
Get her to take those
Broken,
Torn up,
Ripped to smithereens boots
Off of her feet
