My prayer to Manchester
the day was the 22nd of may
it was a day like any other
but with one key difference
evil was in mind ......
and it was lurking round the corner
and no one was any of the wiser
until it exploded peoples lives
peoples lives wont be the same
but we wont feel shame
we will be stronger , we will be better
we will stick together and fight the world
you think we are beaten
you are very much mistaken
you underestimate us greatly
you may have taken our loved ones
but you will never take our pride !
we stand together a united kingdom as one
you will not break us
you will not tear us down
we will not frown
there will be many tears
and evil will always be around
but we are Manchester
we will not give up nor give in
this is what makes Britain great
we will stand strong and proud together
we are the united kingdom and will will never give up
i prayer to all those who we lost
it was a very high cost
whats the world coming to
when we cant do what we used to
we pray for the families and everyone concerned
you are not alone
we are here for you
and will always be
we pray for the ones that are left behind
the pain and sorrow they feel
is very real ......
but in time we will heal
we pray for the strength to hold on
and to hope we all can and will carry on
we are Manchester !
