Everyone needs a hand to hold
someone to lean on when they get cold
someone to share the highs and the lows
someone that just knows by staring into your eyes
she reached out her hand one day and said do you trust me
and since that day there never been any reason to stray
it almost felt like without her you were cast away
adrift in the middle of the sea
with no room to even see
hold on to me she said and we will be together you'll see
she held out her hand once more to me
and said il take care of all of you , just wait and see
she saved me from the torrid sea that was so endless to me
she raised me up higher than anyone ever did
when she held my hand i could touch the sky
ii was sitting on cloud 9 and i felt like i could almost fly
she held my hand , and helped me stand
even when there was no one else at hand
she helped me through life , with all its trouble and strife
she rescued much more that day , and well i guess you could say
il be hers forever from that day , she saved my soul , she enriched my heart she made it full and gave me a brand new start ,
she engulfed me with love that felt like it come straight from up above
she helped me stand even when i fell down , she helped me to not wear a frown
she taught me things about life i never knew , she taught me everything anew
and through all of this i would like to say thank you
my saviour my one true love felt like you came from up above , with so much of you just filled with love
i look in awe at who you are and im so glad you picked me to be with this far
the love you give to me , i could only say i want to thank thee for everyday i have you in my life
for saving me from sinking ...... and feeling like i was drowning under a sea of sorrow you were there through it all and though
i came to you with a broken faith , and you stitched me back up and made me who i am right now thank you
my Saviour that is you , and im so proud to know such one as you that gives so much to do
and make is so i never feel blue , i love to be with you
to hold your hand im in heaven as the feeling is so grand
i cant ever explain , what i feel when your with me i feel out of this world
it makes me feel like im safe and im heard
and all through the day i learned to be yours with only one word
she leaned to me and said ........ i always take care of you , no matter how far , or wide we may be i shall always be with thee
for i know now that when i offered you my hand that day , i offered my heart and forever it will stay
to this very day i am so proud to be the one who can say , i found my saviour on one faithful day and i hope you find yours to help you find your way
when we look at life as a whole , its always better with someone to hold
so maybe one day you will take that chance .... hold out your hand without a passing glance
if there's one thing i've learned , is holding out your hand for something to give , and hoping that one day  someone does the same for you
we never know what tomorrow may bring ...... but what if the one thing you did was to just here a little ring
to help someone in need is a great thing indeed
