People had stopped coming and the bells no longer rang . The old gospel hymnals collected dust and the stained glass was faded and cracked. They pushed the doors closed and then nailed them shut. The cross was taken down and they breathe a sigh of relief. No longer would they have to hear The Sermon on the Mount. The Ten Commandments were thrown aside and they gave a gleeful shout. The world thought that christanity was done. No more churches were left, the battle was finally won. While they were celebrating, God was looking down from upon his throne. They had boarded up the buildings, but the church was not gone. Despite the world's best efforts, to tear God's people apart, what they could not understand is that God is in every Christians heart. So one by one, those who were left continued to spread the word. Though the hymnal were dusty, songs of praise could still be heard. From every single person that carried God in their heart, songs of praise filled the throne room and brought joy to the creators heart. Despite their best efforts, christanity would not die. Even though the nailed the church doors shut, God's word did still abide. For what they did not consider was that God does not exist in a single place, but that his cathedral is all of creation, for he is God that created everything.
