if only I could just
keep the memories at bay,
then I could forget the
time you confessed your
love for me over the
static of the phone.
there are no pills to
keep my sanity, only
crimson gashes stringing
along both of my wrists.
you used to call me
beautiful-gorgeous;
before, it'd make my
heart skip beats.
now, it just stops beating.
