She was afraid you would break her heart,
But now she is willing to risk being torn apart,
She feels that need to be yours alone,
She dreams of talking to you daily on the phone,
She feels so silly; just like a stupid little girl,
Sleeping alone, her body twisted in a fetal curl,
Her heart aches for you to smile at her,
Her body longs to feel you pressed against her,
So afraid to tell you; can she ever have you?
What would you do, if you knew?
Extremely old
