In the dark surrounded by silence
Deafening
Deafening
Deafening silence
But it’s sweet
It’s sweet like rain
For the first time
For the first time in so long
I can’t hear the monsters complain

Don’t go away
As the light starts to brake
I hear myself say
As the the monsters are now awake
The silence all but a faded memory
But I smile
for I know
you
are my enemy
