Emerson the Existentialist
Sable flecks drape the forest floor,
If not for this,
what's the forest for?
Daily lark serenades the petal's ear,
If not for this,
why make this meadow here?
Translucent pupil drinks naked vistas,
If not for this,
Why bother with existence?
I become a transparent eyeball; I am nothing; I see all; the currents of the Universal Being circulate through me; I am part of God
