It's god you need
To help with your own battle
The war to open your eyes
The fight to set yourself free

I believe in you
There is strong devotion
Strong enough to love
To push it straight through

How do you sleep at night?
I'd break in two, a thousand times
Because I sleep in your light
How do you sleep at night?

Take what you can
I am right front of you
Take me where you go
And I'll weep at where you stand

You make me see how to love
And I never knew what that was,
Maybe I can't hold the right words
But I'll set them free, like doves

You make sense to me
I see what you feel
How you see colours
How I feel the sun on our pale skin

How do you sleep at night?
I have shrieked a million times
Because I shed little light
You fight wars in your mind
But that's all I see
As I have killed a hundred times
So how do you sleep at night?
